Full-grain leather is regarded as the highest quality leather, which is why we choose it for the production of our bag and accessories.
Being the strongest, outermost layer of the hide to be used, and keeping the grain in its entirety, rather than being sanded away to look more ‘uniform’, full-grain leather lasts much longer. As it ages, it develops a patina, which is the change in color over time. This change occurs faster on untreated pieces and is considered to be a highly desirable characteristic of leather.
On the smooth, unaltered surface, you can even see the pores and small hair follicles (if you use a magnifying glass), which indicates that the leather is of high quality. Other characteristics to take note of are fat wrinkles or growth lines, natural variations in the grain texture, shading, and small scars.
Every hide is unique as it comes from a different animal with different markings and blemishes so when looking at or working with full-grain leather you’ll soon realize that no two hides are exactly the same.

This is a great bag carries all I need sunglasses and my prescription glasses as well! Phone, cards, money, lipstick and plenty more.
Got the Aphrodite bag last week, and I've been using it every day. It holds what I need for every day to work and running errands. I live in the sunny South, and I am at the age to need readers for any smallish font -- so having easy access to both pairs of glasses is great!! The outside pocket is a bit of a tight fit for my phone, so just make sure you don't pack the inside too full, or it's hard to get your smartphone in and out. Other than that, it's perfect.
If I were going to design a bag this is what it would look like. Love all of the color options too.
After a very long search, I feel that I might have found the perfect bag! Just the right size and the glasses case portion is genius. Exactly what every bag I have tried was missing.
Love the leather! It fits my phone and glasses in the outer pockets. Inside The card slots are perfect. I do like having a place for money and the zippered compartment for change. Also the key fob. It has a nice handle or you can wear it as a crossbody.
I chose the grey color. This is my second bag- the first being a Thea crossbody.
